Animated Passenger Timetable

L&YR Society members, Brian Farrimond, John McGiveron, Frank Ball and Alec Ralph have transcribed the L&YR tables of Bradshaw's Railway Guide of 1906. The transcription has been used to create on-line animations of the running of the L&YR passenger service on a week day and a Sunday.

The transcription will also be used by the Edge Hill University 3D Parametric Modelling Project in their development of tools to create a visualisation of the entire railway.

More information and links to the animations can be found here.

Our exhibition stands in the UK and Australia will be out and about during 2017 so please call at the stand where you'll find a range of our publications on sale and our stand team will be happy to answer your questions.
