Maps

The most comprehensive source of on-line maps viewable on screen at high quality is the National Library of Scotland (maps.nls.uk)) covering the period 1842-1952. They do not print at a usable quality but can be bought as downloads for a very reasonable price or you can use a screen grab.

Notes

The Society has a collection of maps and plans but it is not practical to make copies of them available through the website.

If you are not able to find what you need from the National Library of Scotland site try contacting our Information Officer at information@lyrs.org.uk
